TakeMeTo uses AI not just to plan entire trips, but also to find cool events, parties and local activities – in every country and city, no matter how local. Unlike a generic chatbot, TakeMeTo is a multi-agent system (Google, Grok, Claude) that searches live for real flights, hotels, restaurants, activities and events – instead of answering from memory like ChatGPT. So every recommendation comes from up-to-date search results with real prices, availability, maps, reviews and photos – not from training data. On top of that you get a profile that learns (TravelDNA) and group chats. Automatic booking, all the way to a phone assistant that calls the restaurant for you, is coming soon.

TakeMeTo combines several things in one flow: live search for real flights, hotels, restaurants, activities and events; a personal TravelDNA matching (a 0–100 fit score per place, based on a quiz, your favourites and your chat); a coherent day-by-day plan instead of a plain list of links; and a price comparison across all available providers. Automatic booking for you is coming soon. The backend runs on our own servers in the EU and complies with the GDPR – not via an external cloud service.

A finished plan: a coherent day-by-day itinerary with time slots instead of a mere list of options. You see each place as a detail card with a map, reviews, photos and prices. But you don't have to plan a whole trip at all – you can just as easily ask for cool events, parties or local activities near you.

TakeMeTo works worldwide and isn't limited to a fixed list of cities – the search runs live across real map and travel data. You can plan city trips, beach holidays and round trips, weekend getaways or multi-day tours with hotels, flights and 2–3 activities per day – or simply have events, parties and local activities in any city shown to you, no matter how local. The more specific your destination, the better the matches – for very short or ambiguous place names, adding a country helps (e.g. "Valencia, Spain").

Usually, after your request you get an initial coherent plan (or matching places and events) within about half a minute – the AI searches live through real flights, hotels and places, which takes a little longer than a pure text answer. After that, you adjust the plan in the chat within seconds. Under heavy load it can occasionally take a bit longer.

TakeMeTo is currently a web-only app – native apps for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store are already in the works and coming soon. It is free to use at the moment, no credits needed. Some prices are cached or converted (marked with "approx.") and may differ slightly. And the AI works with real search results, but it isn't infallible – it's best to double-check important details like opening hours and availability.

Yes. TakeMeTo doesn't only plan whole trips – it's also a smart search for spontaneous things: a restaurant for tonight, a rooftop bar nearby, a concert this weekend or an exhibition tomorrow. Just ask in the chat what you're after right now – you get places and events nearby, directly with a map, reviews and photos.

A dedicated web and local search agent continuously scans local sources, social media and forums and refreshes the results daily – exactly the things that no classic travel agency, no OTA and no big booking platform lists. That's how the AI finds, for example, a rooftop party in Germany, a public royal ceremony or parade in Indonesia, or a château in France opening privately for an art exhibition. You get the most current and most local events, trends and places instead of just the same old tourist classics.

Yes. Invite friends, your partner or the whole group into one chat; the AI weighs everyone's preferences (budget, taste, pace) and builds a plan everyone agrees on. It works for a single night out too: ask "What should we do today?" and from your shared preferences you get, for example, first go-karting, then a hot-pot restaurant and afterwards an R&B bar – instead of endless group chats. To actively plan along, everyone needs their own access; simply viewing a shared trip also works without an account.

TravelDNA is a finely tuned mathematical formula developed over a long time that gives every place a fit score from 0 to 100 – based on your quiz, favourites and chat history. Hard factors act as clear filters: if you name a no-go (e.g. "no meat" or "must be wheelchair-accessible"), an unsuitable place is immediately dropped from the selection entirely – that also prevents made-up places. This way we rank by real fit instead of generic popularity.

Give the AI a destination, a duration and a few key points, e.g. "Plan me 3 days in Lisbon with a hotel by the sea, flights from Berlin and 2–3 activities per day, budget rather low." Mention preferences (beach, culture, nightlife, with kids), your preferred travel dates and your budget. But you don't have to know everything at once: depending on your answers, the AI asks targeted follow-up questions and goes into more detail, because that way it delivers even better results. The AI remembers your requirements and keeps them for later changes – you can refine them at any time in the chat.

Your quiz from onboarding is one of the foundations for the TravelDNA fit score (0–100) – together with your favourites and your chat history. The more you favourite and chat with the AI, the better the recommendations get over time. You can delete your learned preferences at any time via your profile.

You can display prices in over a dozen currencies – including EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, JPY, AUD, CAD, CNY, SEK, NZD, AED, DKK, NOK and SGD. You choose your currency in the settings; values from other sources are converted when needed and marked with "approx.", since exchange rates are updated daily and the final booking price can differ slightly.

The AI may only suggest places it actually found in real search results – additional safeguards prevent made-up places. Every recommendation is based on real results rather than pure model knowledge.

Behind TakeMeTo is a multi-agent system made up of Google, Grok and Claude – no single AI, but several working together. The models mainly serve as an orchestrator for live searches: places and prices come from real travel data, not from the model's memory. Your inputs are not used for public model training.

The backend and AI pipeline run in the EU on our own German servers – not via external cloud AI services. You'll find our privacy policy and legal notice on the website. The personalised memory the AI uses to remember your preferences is optional and can be deleted completely at any time.

Yes. In your profile you can delete your account at any time, GDPR-compliant – this removes your login, your settings and your own chats and trips. You can also delete the memory the AI has learned separately, without removing your entire account.

Just tell the AI in the chat what you'd like to change – it adjusts your day-by-day plan right away. If you prefer, you can also move, add or delete stops and time slots manually yourself; if you leave it to the AI, it handles all the changes in one go.

You don't have to recreate the whole plan. Just write in the chat what you'd like to change on a specific day or stop ("Day 2 a bit more relaxed", "something with kids instead of the museum"). The AI then only adjusts the affected parts of your day-by-day plan, the rest stays as it is. If needed, you can also add, move or delete individual stops manually yourself – otherwise the AI handles everything in one go.

Just tell the AI in the chat, e.g. "make the budget smaller" or "move the trip to June" – or adjust destination, budget and date directly in the dashboard. The system detects the change automatically and adjusts your plan either immediately or on the next run. The AI remembers earlier wishes like "hotel by the sea" and looks for suitable new options – you don't have to repeat them every time.

Under "Trips" you'll find the list of all your chats or travel sessions. Each trip keeps its day-by-day plan and its chat history, so you can keep planning or reopen an earlier trip at any time.

Yes. As a signed-in user you can save individual places as favourites and organise them into collections. Under "Favourites" you'll find the tabs "Collections" and "Places" for this. And the more you favourite, the better your TravelDNA matching gets too.

Every trip has a share code that others can use to view it or join the chat. That way you plan together in one shared itinerary instead of in endless group chats.
