Cruise & shore days

Plan your shore excursion —your port day, done your way.

Your cruise is booked. What happens during those six, eight, ten hours ashore is your call — not the excursion desk's. Tell us the ports and the dates, and we build one shore day per stop.

Why TakeMeTo
01

One day per port

Every stop gets its own shore day — route, food and breaks inside exactly the hours your ticket leaves you ashore. No hotels: you sleep on board.

02

Everything near the terminal

We plan around the berth: walking distances instead of drive times, short ways back, and a buffer before the ship leaves.

03

On your own, not booked

You are not tied to the onboard program. The plan is yours — move it, shorten it, swap things out in the chat.

The problem

Six hours in port — and no idea what is actually doable.

Onboard excursions are expensive and all end at the same viewpoint. Doing it yourself means researching each port from scratch, checking opening hours, guessing walking times — and still fearing you will miss the all-aboard.

Our answer

You name the ports. We build the shore days.

Write one sentence: where you dock, on which day, and how long you are ashore. Each stop turns into a day with an order that works, walking times from the terminal, food and a return buffer — editable in the chat for as long as you like.

What we do not do

We do not sell cruises and we do not look up ships, cabins or fares. Arrival and departure times are on your ticket, not in our data — you provide them, we plan around them.

How it works

From itinerary to shore day in three steps.

01

Name ports and dates

One sentence is enough: which port on which date — plus the hours ashore, if you already know them.

02

Get a day per stop

For every port a running order: activities and restaurants near the terminal, in a sequence that fits, with a buffer before all-aboard.

03

Adjust in the chat

Too packed, too far, no museum day? Just say so — the shore day gets rebuilt, port by port.

Example for your first message

„Cruise shore days: we dock in Split on 12 Oct, Dubrovnik on 13 Oct, Kotor on 14 Oct, 8am–6pm, two of us — plan our shore excursions“

Include the word “cruise” or “shore” in your message, otherwise a list of ports is treated as a road trip and hotels are added. A date per port is required, the hours are optional — without times we assume 9am to 5pm and say so above the plan.
